Dermatologist is a specialist who deals with skin conditions and diseases and its appendages, i.e. nails and hair. Dermatology also includes systemic diseases that are revealed by changes in the skin, e.g. allergies, benign and malignant tumors and lupus. Our clinic has been cooperating for years with doctor Izabela Zelazny, who specializes in both general and paediatric dermatology.
At Victoria Clinic, apart from dermatological consultations related to skin diseases such as acne vulgaris, rosacea acne, comb, and nail plaques, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin warts, skin cancers, we also offer:
Venereological consultations
Videodermatoscopy
Trichology (hair loss diagnostics)
Dermatosurgery (removal of small skin lesions, removal of ingrown nails)
Trichology is a pain free non-invasive examination that can be performed at the first appointment. Many people do it as a prophylactic measure or if they notice an excessive hair loss. This test consists in magnifying the examined areas several hundred times and analyzing the image from the camera. During this treatment, special attention is paid to the scalp, bulbs and the entire hair. A trichological examination should be performed by anyone who notices that their hair is starting to fall out excessively.
Seborrhea
Dry or oily dandruff
Sensitive scalp
Alopecia
Psoriasis
Atopic dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis
Videodermatoscopy allows for the early detection of malignant melanoma. During the examination a dermatologist can assess the pigmentation changes commonly known as "moles" under high magnification using a special camera. Thanks to the ability to record the size and shape, we are able to control whether the structure of the mole changes over time.
