My name is Imad Mohtar, a skilled and experienced Consultant Urology Surgeon.

 

I studied medicine and graduated from  Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Collegium Maius. I have completed my speciality in Urology from University Hospital in Bydgoszcz , Dr Jurasz University Hospital No. 1

 

I have been working in Urology since 1999 now with an international background. I worked in various countries including Poland, Lebanon, USA, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the UK. I have been working in the NHS: intermittently since 2008) and permanently since 2013 – ongoing.

 

I am a member of the Polish, Lebanese, and Bahraini Order of Physicians. Besides, I am a member of the European Association of Urology with full GMC register and licence to practice medicine / urology in the UK.

 

I am a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) and Ultrasonographer with a certificate issued by the Polish Ultrasound Society in Warsaw  qualifying me to independently perform an Ultrasound examination.

 

I am interested in general urology: diagnosis, treatment and follow up including:  kidney, prostate, bladder, genital (penile and scrotal disorders) and urinary tract stone disease. I also have a specific interest and experience in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms, overactive bladder, recurrent urinary tract infection and urinary incontinence.

 

I keep myself up to date and maintain high level of knowledge by attending courses, lectures, seminars, mandatory and ordinary training, workshops, and scientific symposiums both in the country and overseas. I follow the General Medical Council guidelines with regular appraisal and revalidation requirements to ensure safety and high-quality services to the patients.
