Endodontic treatment, otherwise known as "root canal treatment", it’s a type of treatment for aching or dead teeth and aims at removing the inflammation occurring in both cases. This treatment often allows to eliminate the pain immediately after the visit and a patient can return to normal eating or sleeping pattern.
To provide you highest possible comfort, at Victoria Clinic we suggest each “root canal treatment” to be performed using a microscope and under local anesthesia, computer anesthesia or under sedation (so-called sleep).
Fractured tooth
Deep and extensive cavity
Repeated tooth treatments
Broken tooth
Untreated pulp infection can lead to numerous painful complications, including abscess formation. Root canal treatment is often the only way to preserve the tooth and, it requires experience and extensive medical knowledge.
Spontaneous or pulsating pain, persisting for a long time
Hypersensitivity to heat and cold
Feeling pain while biting
Extensive carious cavity
Dark tooth colour
Swelling and pain in the mucous membrane and surrounding soft tissues
Thanks to the high-class dental microscope used during endodontic treatment, it is possible to enlarge view of the treatment area. This guarantees greater effectiveness of treatment, enabling the treatment of teeth that were previously intended to be extracted due to the complicated anatomy of the root canal system and complications after the original root canal treatment.
Root canals are not properly or completely filled
Root canals with dead pulp left behind
Root calas with tools left behind
Chronic inflammation around the root
Our clinic is equipped with equipment that will reduce the costs of endodontic treatment success such as microscopic brand of Leica M300, endometry, endodontic micromotors, mechanical nickel-titanium instruments and radiography, i.e., digital X-rays.
